Bravo Buddies Teacher Application
Bravo Waukegan is excited to offer summer teaching positions to qualified area college & high school musicians!
Bravo Buddies is a wonderful program that matches young Waukegan musicians with advanced students from the Midwest Young Artists, area high schools, and colleges for private summer instruction. Join us!
Bravo Buddies 2026 Details:
- Student Teachers will give 45 minute private lessons
- Camp runs for 4 weeks in June 2026
- Lessons are scheduled between 9am – 3:30pm
- Fridays will feature planned, camp-wide activities including interactive musical workshops and field trips. There will be no Bravo Buddies on June 19, 2026 (Juneteenth).
- Location: John R. Lewis Middle School, 600 S. Lewis Ave, Waukegan, IL
- Student teachers will receive mentoring from the Lead Teacher
- The program is coordinated by Bravo; staff is on site. Student teachers focus strictly on instruction
- A final jam session and wrap up party will be hosted by Bravo on the last day
- Student teachers will be required to attend orientation training prior to the beginning of camp
